CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that produces elite fitness using functional movements that are constantly varied and are performed at high intensity. CrossFit combines Lifts (ex: squat, deadlift, clean & jerk, snatch) with Gymnastic movements (ex: pull-up, push-up, dip, sit-up) and Metabolic Conditioning (ie, “cardio” - running, swimming, biking, rowing, jumping rope). Elements of these three categories are combined in as many ways as possible, creating a program that is constantly varied. Routine is the enemy.
CrossFit is scalable to any and all needs - the same program is used for U.S Special forces, housewives, cage fighters, even the elderly. The weight, reps, rounds, and the intensity can all be scaled, but the program will stay the same for all.

World-Class Fitness in 100 Words:
"Eat meal and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly master the basics of gymnastics: Pull-ups, dips, rope climbs, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports."
